When the children's bedtime comes, the parents can still be up and active, but have the security of being nearby and available.

Similar to regular hotel accommodations, most chalets are attended to daily by the resort staff. This gives a family plenty of privacy and space to spread out and enjoy themselves, but still allows for the staff to take care of the details and to make sure that it is clean and orderly when the family comes back from the slopes.

Some of the chalets either have childcare nearby or can provide staff for childcare. This often helps the younger children to feel more comfortable during times when the parents are out. In addition, many parents have greater peace of mind knowing that their children are being cared for by a nanny who can give them full attention as opposed to being in a day care center type of environment.

For those who are looking to enjoy luxury and pampering during their ski vacations, they should look for the fully catered ski chalets which are offered by many top ski resorts. These catered chalets cater to the needs and desires of their guests with meals throughout the day. To help you prepare for the rigors of a day of skiing, you will be met with a hearty breakfast.
